BRIEF OVERVIEW OF CATHOLICISM
By Jim Duke
The Christian faith had flourished through the Middle East and Europe by the 3rd Century. Many Roman Emperors, such as Diocletian, were offended by the faith that regarded its head Jesus and not the Emperor, and charged against the believers of Jesus Christ with persecution of prison, torture, and death as martyrs. Despite, the faith still spread.
In 325 AD Roman Emperor Constantine the Great restored the Empire, and upon winning it after adopting the vision of the cross, converted to Christianity. He lifted the ban of Christianity, did away with human sacrifices, and allowed the faith to continue. However, as head of the Empire, he also regarded himself as close to being God on earth as one could be. He turned the pagan temples into shrines for Jesus, changing the names of gods to Christian saints of martyrdom. This mixed Christianity with paganism.
Theodosius I, the last emperor to rule over both East and West, died in 395 AD, was the one who made Christianity the official religion of the empire and demanded all believe Christianity under the Roman Church or would be persecuted. This was the universal Catholic Church under the authority of the Roman Empire.
By the 5th Century Mary became a significant figure under the Cult of Mary, and worship was attributed to her as the woman deity of the trinity to accommodate paganism and mythology. The Roman Church incorporated this into their doctrine.
By the 6th Century the Roman Church desired Jerusalem and wanted to ward off pure Christians from their claim of the faith. They raised up a militant arm through indoctrinating a boy named Mohammad they trained from youth to become the leader of an army. Many Arabs would accept Catholicism, but those that didn’t were coaxed into the Muslim army through a religion developed for them called Islam. Mary became equated with Fatima.
Mohammad conquered much for the Roman Church, but when Mohammad had a vision that his reign was great and he would become a leader of the army for Allah, he became dominant in his own strength, and realized how strong his army became, and that it could rival Rome.
Rome raised up an army of knights and led a Crusade in 1099 that recovered its strength, and suppressed the Muslim army to regain claim over it. In that Crusade, not only Muslims were fought against, but also Christians who rebelled against the Roman Church. The Knights Templar were dubbed as the official militant army of Rome in 1118 and used the influence of the Roman Church for uncovering esoteric texts under the site of the Temple of Solomon in the facade it was guarding the Temple and protecting Catholic missionaries in their travel. The Templars set up usuries for the journeymen to temporarily put their possessions under their guard and receive a seal to recover at another depository. This became the model for the modern banking system. The Templars used their influence to gain monetary wealth by loaning from the usury, with no one accountable to audit what was actually held. This became the founding of the fiat banking practices.
However, it was reported that the Templars secretly wanted to gain control of the European countries through the Churches as its offices. Dignitaries became suspicious that they were losing the power of their own countries and that the Templars were a Secret Society acquiring to control the world. While the king called for their ban owing them money, others also joined the petition to ban the devious plans of the Templars. They were charged by exposing their Satanic rituals and perverted practices. The Pope announced the decree to eradicate them on October 13, 1307.
The Roman Church became strong in its influence, and devised doctrines of its own that kept the citizens of countries enslaved to its power. They required people attend Mass to partake in the ceremony of the death of Christ and its supernatural power to resurrect Jesus into the Church under its authority each meeting. The people were told they would not be partakers of heaven unless they participate. Also they were given a way to attend to offer prayers to their loved ones who may have died without surrendering under the Mother Church. This idea of Purgatory was that loved ones were put into a spiritual prison, a holding place, to give a second grace through petition of prayer. The living relatives would give payment, called indulgences, to the Papacy for privilege of earning way to have their prayers risen to heaven. Of course, this violates several scriptures, as Hebrews 9:27, man is appointed once to die, then judgement, as well as Jesus’ example of overturning the tables of the money-changers in his anger over exploiting the believers for money.
A monk named Martin Luther discovered this was not a scriptural concept. Something stirred within him. After wearing out his confessions trying to be righteous, he came to the revelation that the just shall live by faith. After having come to his senses, he petitioned against the Roman Church.
This caused the Roman Church conflict as many were leaving the Authority under the Church and became believers under this reformed belief. It led to the protesting of the Church. The Protestants were a blow to the authority of the Roman Church, and the Church needed to raise up another army against the reformation.
The pure belief in Christ gained popularity. Roman Church was threatened of losing coverts and their power to these dissenters. So the Papacy accepted the offer of an Illuminate named Ignatius of Loyola to lead an army of militants to reign in the dissenters. Ignatius already had been having visions of Mary and leading a militant army for Vatican by 1534. It was suggested that instead of focusing on Mary, he call his army the Society of Jesus and was accepted in 1540 as the Roman Church’s militant arm. The Society became known as the Jesuits. The Jesuits led the counter-reformation and used its crafty devious influence to subvert countries to Roman Catholicism through its Churches. They basically continued where the Knights Templar left off. They mastered espionage, subversion, and assassination. Anyone not accepting Roman Catholic Church rule would be demised in its wake.
The Jesuits, like the Knights Templar, were found to also have ulterior motives of overtaking monarchies and their countries. Pressure by the kings gave enough for Pope Clement to sign a decree to end the Jesuit reign. He banned the Jesuits in 1773, but realized he may have signed his death warrant as the Jesuits were an Intel force not to be reckoned with. In 9 months the Pope was found dead rotting from the inside out, a mark of Jesuit assassination.
True believers in Jesus Christ continued to be persecuted, and needed to be reined into the ecumenicism of the Roman Church. But instead of abolishing the faith, an ex-Jesuit Adam Weishaupt raised up a group of intellects during the Enlightenment age to subdue it from within. In 1776 he founded the Bavarian Illuminati. The Illuminati took the same traits of the Jesuits. Some say it was an intermittent facade of the Jesuits until re-instated in 1814 under Pope Pius the VII, after their reputation had been erased.
The Illuminati hid within Freemasonry when they were found out in 1785. But they still flourished under the cover of the Freemasons. The Jesuits interwove within the Masonic Lodges to continue in secret. And rather than abolish Christianity, it subdued it from within denominations. And eventually became leaders of prestigious universities hosting seminaries. To this day Vatican and the Roman Church influences mainstream Christianity under banners of facade that the Jesuits have controlled.
All along throughout history, we see a remnant of believers of Jesus who differentiated themselves from the Roman Church version of Christianity. There has been the misunderstanding that Christianity is Roman Catholicism. But the pure belief of the faith is quite different and separate. Rome continues to host the Babylonian beliefs and contains the aspects of Mystery Babylon and ecumenical unity. And the true church of Jesus Christ, the body in its organic form, still exists as the remnant of believers desperately trying to make the distinction between the Roman Church and the pure belief of Jesus Christ.
