DAY 4 OF 21: RENEWING YOUR MIND IN CHRIST JESUS

Distractions are dangerous.

Technology, social media, busyness of everyday life consume our time. 

The enemy uses distractions to trap us; to swerve us away from the Lord’s path.

God’s Word teaches us to keep our focus on Jesus Christ.

Seek His will first.  

Commitment in prayer and seeking God’s will leads us in the right path.

Proverbs 3:6:  Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 4:25:  Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.

Matthew 6:33:  But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Ephesians 5:15-16:  So be careful how you live.  Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.  Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

1 Corinthians 7:35:  I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you.  I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.

Galatians 1:10:  Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God.  If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

1 Corinthians 10:13:  The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience.  And God is faithful.  He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand.  When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Hebrews 12:2:  We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.

Proverbs 3:1-2:  My child, never forget the things I have taught you.  Store my commands in your heart.  If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.  Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!

Joshua 1:8:  Study this Book of Instruction continually.  Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.  Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
